Executive Management

The Executive Management is responsible for the day-to-day management of BioMar, directed by the Board of Directors’ strategic priorities, guidelines and instructions.

The Executive Management consists of the CEO and CFO. With their combined expertise from aquaculture and finance, joint passion for innovation, deep understanding of the aquaculture sector and proven business acumen, our Executive Management apply their combined know-how to guide the company’s growth.

Carlos Diaz

CEO

Biography add

Carlos Diaz (Chilean and Spanish nationality) has been the CEO of the company since 2014.

Prior to his appointment, Carlos Diaz was Vice President, Continental Europe, Americas & Business Development of the Company from 2013 to 2014 and Vice President, Continental Europe of the Company from 2010 to 2013. Prior hereto, Carlos Diaz was Vice President, Americas of BioMar Chile S.A. from 2006 to 2009 and Managing Director of BioMar Chile S.A. from 2003 to 2006.

Carlos Diaz holds a M.Sc. in Veterinary Medicine from University of Concepción, Chile, and an MBA from Executive School of Economics and Management (ESEM) in Madrid, Spain.

Claus Eskildsen

CFO

Biography add

Claus Eskildsen (Danish nationality) has been the CFO of the company since 2017. Prior to his appointment, Claus Eskildsen was Group Finance Manager of the Company from 2013 to 2017.

Claus Eskildsen holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration and Auditing (cand.merc.aud.) and a diploma (HD-R) in Business Administration (Financial and Management Accounting), both from Aarhus School of Business and Social Sciences.

Executive Committee Members

The Executive Management is supported by an experienced Executive Committee. The Executive Committee consists of vice presidents responsible for the business segment and operational geographies as well as vice presidents of core global functions, responsible for business strategy, business development (including M&A), people, purpose and communication.
